TERMS OF SERVICEwhen you commission me, you are accepting my terms of service. for any questions regarding my terms, please feel free to message or email me.
MOST IMPORTANT
♡ failure to read or comply with the ToS will result in a declined commission.
♡ i reserve the right to deny any commission request that i am not comfortable doing for whatever reason.
♡ i will not accept your commission if you partake or subscribe to AI art. i do not allow my art to be used for any NFT or AI learning related reasons.
♡ give credit where credit is due. you must credit me (@_chumaii) as the artist, or link one of my socials whenever and wherever my art is showcased.
♡ any rudeness or ill behavior will not be tolerated and your commission will be cancelled and refunded if it occurs.
♡ i prefer to work with some artistic freedom - this means that i am able to have some space to do my thing while still following your requests/references. if this does not sit right with you, do not commission me.WAITLIST
♡ all waitlist reservations and current commission progress can be seen on trello at any time.
♡ you are not required to submit any references or information in order to join the waitlist. it is free to join. once i notify you that you have been added, i most likely will only contact you directly to let you know if it is your turn. any universal updates (hiatuses, delays, etc.) will be done on twitter. if you have any questions or concerns, you may message me at any time.
♡ the waitlist is a 'rolling' waitlist. as such, the waitlist is opened at all times and you may join whenever you would like. however, this also means that it may take time before i can contact you about your commission, depending on how busy i am.
♡ you have 24-48 hours to respond to me when i contact you about your spot on the waitlist. otherwise, i will move onto the next client and your waitlist reservation will be removed.
♡ if you are not active on twitter, please let me know an alternate form of contact that is easiest for you.
♡ there is no obligation to continue with the commission once i reach out to you to confirm your interest. you are welcome to select a later date to continue, as long as its within the month or within the time frame we have discussed. however, if you are uncommunicative after confirming your interest, we will not be working together again.PRICING
♡ price can vary depending on complexity of the design. the prices listed are only a base price of the styles offered.
♡ rush fees may be added on commissions, depending on my current workload and how quickly the artwork needs to be done. it is negotiable, but may be up to double the total price. if the deadline is not met, you will receive a full refund.
♡ per your request, the commission can be made private for an extra 50% of the total price. the artwork will not be published on any of my social media platforms, portfolios, etc. for no additional payment, we can agree not to post the artwork for a certain amount of time within a year (vtuber debut/reveal, birthday gifts, etc.)
all prices are listed in USDREVISIONS & DEADLINES
♡ character/reference changes should be discussed before completion. any revisions after completion that are not a part of the original reference are subject to extra fees.
♡ the turnover for each commission will vary depending on complexity. i have a maximum of three months to complete the request unless otherwise notified. my commission queue and all commission progress can be viewed on the trello provided. if you have any questions or concerns about the progress of your commission, you may contact me at any time.
♡ every commissioner is given a rough sketch before completion of the artwork, besides those who commission YCH bases. this is to give you a general idea of what i am envisioning based on what you've told me. at this stage, you are allowed to request any necessary changes to the artwork (pose changes, color choice, etc.) please keep in mind that the final art may be different from the sketch simply due to the transition between sketch and lineart and changes in artstyle. if there is something you want to keep directly from the sketch (hairstyle, eye shape, etc,) please let me know so i can make the lineart as similar as possible.
♡ any major edits, or that require a large portion of the art, such as outfit changes, to be redrawn are subject to additional fees, so please be detailed when requesting a commission.
♡ if your reference was unclear to begin with, minor changes will also be subject to extra fees.
♡ you are not allowed to use any rejected sketches/poses, but i am allowed to use them in any future artworks.
♡ after completion, only minor changes are allowed to be made (small coloring/marking revisions.) these must be made within a month from the completion of the artwork.PAYMENT
♡ 100% of payment is taken upfront - payment plans are allowed for all commissions. however, the commission will not be started until full payment is received.
♡ payment is done through ko-fi and can be made only after a commission is accepted and the payment amount is agreed upon.
♡ you must send payment within 48 hours of agreement upon commission details unless otherwise discussed prior to payment.
♡ paying in any other way that was not agreed upon nor discussed will be considered a donation.REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
♡ you are allowed to request a refund at any time during the process. however, the percentage of the refund depends on the progress i've already made on your commission.

♡ all finished artworks come with two versions: a transparent background and a solid color background. the default color is white, but can be changed upon request.
♡ the commissioned artwork will be delivered to you in digital form only via an email attachment. it will include PNG versions of the artwork that are watermarked as well as unwatermarked. as such, please provide an email when requesting a commission.LICENSING & RIGHTS
♡ all commissions are for personal use only unless agreed otherwise.
♡ do not copy, trace, or edit the artwork, either by you, the commissioner, or by another artist. any violation will result in an immediate blacklist.
♡ commissioned artwork may be reposted with the watermark (the unwatermarked version is for personal use.) removing/editing of the watermark is strictly forbidden.
♡ i retain the original copyright and ownership of the artwork. this includes but is not limited to redistributing, reproducing, advertising, or displaying the artwork in any of my websites, social media, and portfolios according to my discretion. any change to these rights are subject to extra fees as explained above.
♡ commercial use must be discussed BEFORE payment and will double to triple the total commission price. more details about what is considered commercial use is detailed below. if there is any confusion, please let me know what the artwork will be used for before payment.
